ProStart Matrix Software Consulting

Code review and engineering mentorship for teams that ship from Songkhla — scoped project work and advisory sessions, not open-ended staff augmentation.

Request a scoped engagement

What we do in southern Thailand and remotely

ProStart Matrix Software Consulting helps product and platform teams tighten pull requests, reduce regression risk, and grow senior judgment in their codebase. Engagements are defined up front: a review pass on a named repository, a mentorship arc over several weeks, or a short advisory block around architecture decisions.

We work with maintainers in Songkhla and across ASEAN time zones who need an outside pair of eyes on Go, TypeScript, Python, or polyglot services — without pretending to replace your on-call rotation.

Scoped code review

Structured findings on readability, test gaps, and operational risks, delivered as annotated notes your team can action in the next sprint.

Engineering mentorship

Session-based coaching on debugging habits, review etiquette, and design trade-offs — aimed at mid-level engineers stepping into ownership.

Rooted in Songkhla, working where your repo lives

Our head office sits on Robinson Road in Mueang Songkhla. Most reviews happen over secure screen-share and your issue tracker; on-site working sessions are available when travel and scope allow. Local context matters when you explain compliance, vendor SLAs, or hand-offs to Thai-speaking stakeholders.

Repository review sprint

We map hotspots, run targeted reads on auth, data paths, and concurrency, then deliver a prioritized fix list. Suitable before a funding diligence round or a major release branch.

Mentorship cadence

Recurring sessions anchored to your real tickets: pairing on a gnarly bug, rehearsing design docs, or tightening how your team runs design reviews before code hits main.

Good mentorship in Songkhla looks the same as anywhere else: honest notes, reproducible examples, and respect for the team that will maintain the code after we log off.

How an engagement runs

  1. Intake. You share repo access boundaries, languages, and the outcome you need (risk report, mentor plan, or architecture memo).
  2. Scope lock. We agree on depth, calendar, and deliverable format. Commercial terms are confirmed in writing before work begins.
  3. Delivery. Reviews land in your chosen toolchain; mentorship sessions follow an agenda you approve each week.
  4. Handover. We record open questions and suggested follow-ups so your team can continue without us.

Questions teams ask before booking

Do you embed as full-time developers?

No. We consult through defined projects and advisory sessions. If you need staff augmentation, we can help you write a job spec, but we do not act as a body shop.

Can you review private repositories?

Yes, under a mutual confidentiality understanding documented in our terms. Access is limited to named reviewers for the agreed period.

Are prices listed on this site?

Not yet. Each engagement is quoted after intake because depth, repo size, and timezone overlap vary. We will not invoice until scope and fees are confirmed.
